Commissioned by Unibail-Rodamco-Westfield (URW), Triangle is set to become the first Parisian skyscraper of the 21st century. Designed by Pritzker Prize-winning architects Herzog & de Meuron, the 180-metre-high tower will bring together offices, a conference centre, a health centre, a cultural centre, a crèche, a hotel and a restaurant. The project has been designed to achieve BREEAM Excellent (minimum), HQE Exceptional and Effinergie certifications while maintaining a controlled carbon footprint through the use of low-carbon and recycled materials.
BESIX is responsible for the construction of the tower and plays a central role in its engineering and delivery. BESIX Engineering, the company's in-house design office, developed the planning, logistics and construction methods to minimise impacts on local mobility, neighbouring communities and the operation of the Parc des Expositions. BESIX Engineering is also carrying out the structural execution studies and supporting the façade studies. Throughout the project, BESIX works closely with the project management team appointed by URW, including Setec, Egis and Artelia.
