BESIX Group has been recognised by the Top Employers Institute, receiving the Top Employer Award 2025 for the sixth consecutive year. With a score of 90.65% (outperforming the benchmark by 5.7%), this achievement applies to BESIX Group, BESIX NV, BESIX RED, BESIX STAY and Flamant.
BESIX Nederland was also awarded this certification for the second year in a row, while improving their score from last year.
How do we measure our impact?
EcoVadis is an internationally recognised assessment platform that rates companies’ environmental, social and ethical performances and procurement practices. By participating in EcoVadis assessments, BESIX measures its sustainability practices and benchmarks them against global standards. This helps us identify areas for improvement, ensure responsible operations, and reinforce our commitment to building a more sustainable future.
The Global Reporting Initiative (GRI) provides widely recognised standards for sustainability reporting. By following GRI guidelines, BESIX ensures clarity, consistency and transparency when sharing its environmental, social and governance (ESG) impacts. This approach helps us meet stakeholder expectations and drives continuous improvement in our sustainability performance.
The Corporate Sustainability Reporting Directive (CSRD) raises reporting standards on environmental, social and governance topics. We are committed to meeting these requirements by the set deadline, enhancing transparency and accountability across our operations, ensuring our sustainability efforts are both credible and impactful.
CO2 performance ladder
Climate change is one of the main challenges for the construction industry and BESIX Group recognises its utmost urgency. In this context, we have distinguished ourselves for years by an innovative and sustainable approach to its activities.
This approach has been specifically demonstrated through the highest level certification (Level 5) on the CO₂ Performance Ladder for our activities in the Benelux-France region.
